The Save Our Salaries campaign is about highlighting the opportunity we have to let Ohioans keep more of their hard-earned money.
Through this campaign we are calling on the Ohio General Assembly to move Ohio to a Flat Tax of 2.75%. By doing that we will have the lowest personal income tax rate in the midwest.
This will also continue Ohio’s trajectory towards a 0% Personal Income Tax. A goal our legislative leaders have long talked about accomplishing.

Ohio could grow faster by ending the state income tax. A study released by AFP says this change could help create more jobs and boost the economy. Phasing the income tax out over ten years combined with offsetting cuts in government spending would generate $12.9 billion in economic growth and add 81,000 jobs by 2032 by one estimate. We want Ohio to be the first Midwest state with 0% income tax. We hope to reach this goal by 2030. In the meantime, leaders in Ohio Senate are pushing for a 2.75% flat tax across Ohio which would be a big step towards a full elimination.
