Senator Jerry Cirino is running to represent Ohio’s 18th Senate District and brings a wealth of business acumen and leadership experience to the state government.  

He is a key ally on both the Finance Committee and the Ways and Means Committee and leads in advancing economic reforms. He has co-sponsored numerous tax cut bills and is champion of budgetary issues. He believes that every Ohio student should have access to a high quality education at all  levels, regardless of where they live or the value of their community’s real estate. While Senator Cirino supports public schools, he supports parents as the primary educators of their children and that they should have choices. Children who live in school districts that are failing to achieve positive outcomes for students should not be their only option.  

Regulation 

He has always believed that state and local governments should control more and more of their destiny rather than the federal government. Our federal government has grown way beyond the original intent of our Founding Fathers and has become expensive and intrusive in many ways.
