Tony Hocevar is running to represent House District 23 to address what he sees as pervasive corruption in government, driven by career politicians. An Army veteran and Slovenian immigrant, he will be a key addition to bold and transformational policy coalition-building efforts. Tax Reform 

Hocevar supports transitioning away from an income tax and replacing it with a spending tax, relying on advice from economists and tax specialists to determine the best approach. 

Education Freedom 

He supports school choice and believes that competition among schools will drive educational improvement. He advocates for performance-based teacher salaries, reduced administrative overhead, and an emphasis on traditional, time-tested subjects. 

Regulation 

Hocevar believes government should not dictate employment practices in private businesses, viewing such mandates as Marxist in nature. He supports sunset provisions for state regulations to ensure they adapt to changing business environments and eliminate outdated practices.
