Brian Stewart is an attorney, small business owner, Army veteran, and current member of the Ohio House of Representatives, serving the 12th House District. First elected in 2020 after prior service in local government, Stewart brings experience from both the public and private sectors. His background in law, business, and military service has shaped his approach to policymaking, particularly on issues involving government process, economic policy, and long‑term competitiveness for Ohio.
Throughout his time in the General Assembly, Stewart’s legislative work has consistently intersected with the Buckeye Blueprint’s priority initiatives: economic freedom, education opportunity, modernizing government, and energy abundance. Stewart’s record demonstrates that good policy should serve the people first, not political gain. He has championed tax and budget policy, workforce and higher‑education issues, and efforts aimed at improving transparency and efficiency within state government systems. His work on energy‑related legislation will continue to position Ohio as a major energy‑producing state and expand the conversation around affordable and abundant energy.
AFP Ohio is proud to endorse Brian Stewart and we hope to continue to build a bolder, better Buckeye state with him and all our Buckeye Blueprint champions.
